The Metropolitan Police Department announces an arrest has been made in a shooting that occurred in Northeast.
On Monday, June 10, 2024, at 10:10 p.m., Sixth District officers responded to the 4100 block of Minnesota Avenue Northeast for reports of a shooting. On scene they located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, as a result of detectives’ investigation, 34-year-old Christopher Wise was placed under arrest and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
