Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sexual Assault Unit announce an arrest has been made in reference to Misdemeanor Sexual Abuse offenses that occurred on Sunday, August 13, 2023, in the Second District.
In each of the below offenses, the suspect engaged in unwanted sexual contact with the victims at the listed locations. The suspect then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
- At approximately 7:45 am, in the 2300 block of Nebraska Avenue, Northwest CCN: 23-132-778
- At approximately 8:07 am, at Sherier Place and Galena Place, Northwest CCN: 23-132-670
- At approximately 11:15 am, in the 3400 block of Massachusetts Avenue, Northwest CCN: 23-132-700
On Sunday, August 13, 2023, 30-year-old Christopher Sharp, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with three counts of Misdemeanor Sexual Abuse.
