Metropolitan Police Department will periodically invite the immediate family members of open homicide cases to join us for a special personal meeting with a homicide detective. Officials from the Homicide will be available to discuss the current status of the case.

The Sex Offender Registration Act of 1999 established a sex offender registration program for the District of Columbia and authorizes the Metropolitan Police Department to release sex offender information to the public.
