Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced several arrests in recent robbery cases in Washington, DC.
First District:
- On Friday, August 16, 2019, 51 year-old James Slater, of no fixed address, was arrested for an Assault With Intent to Rob offense that occurred on Friday, August 16, 2019, in the 1100 block of South Capitol Street, Southwest. CCN: 19-145-290.
- At approximately 10:50 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim and attempted to take the victim’s property. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
- On Tuesday, August 20, 2019, 26 year-old Nigel Pulliam, and 26 year-old Keith Blue, both of Southeast, DC, were arrested for an Assault With Intent to Rob while Armed (Gun) offense that occurred on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, in the 500 block of H Street, Northeast. CCN: 19-147-612.
- At approximately 1:35 pm, three suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene. Two of the suspects were apprehended by responding officers. This case remains under investigation.
Second District:
- On Thursday, August 22, 2019, 55 year-old James Robertson, Jr., of Northwest, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Thursday, August 22, 2019, in the 1300 block of New York Avenue, Northwest. CCN: 19-148-696.
- At approximately 9:40 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect snatched the victim’s property then fled the scene.
Third District:
- On Saturday, August 17, 2019, 20 year-old Adrian Proctor, of Oxon Hill, MD, was arrested for a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Thursday, July 25, 2019, in the 1400 block of 7th Street, Northwest. CCN: 19-130-710.
- At approximately 8:40 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects snatched the victim’s property then both fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.
Fourth District:
- On Monday, August 19, 2019, 21 year-old Marquez James Keys, of Northeast, DC, was arrested for a Robbery of Establishment offense that occurred on June 27, 2019, in the 3400 block of 14th Street, Northwest. CCN: 19-112-311.
- At approximately 5:07 pm, four suspects entered the establishment at the listed location. The suspects began to assault the store employee while destroying property to obtain property. The suspects then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.
Fifth District:
- On Wednesday, August 21, 2019, 25 year-old Otho Gaskins, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, in the 1800 block of Bladensburg Road, Northeast. CCN: 19-147-425.
- At approximately 10:00 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect then snatched the victim’s property and fled the scene.
Seventh District:
- On Tuesday, August 20, 2019, 32 year-old Anthony Gardner, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, in the 1500 block of Savannah Street, Southeast. CCN: 19-147-602.
- At approximately 2:33 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim, took his property and fled the scene.
