On May 2, 2004, the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia (MPD) implemented a major restructuring of its Police Service Areas (PSAs) following in-depth analysis, public discussions and City Council review.
On Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at approximately 4:10 pm, Kenneth Barry Hodge was found inside an apartment at 3510 18th Street, SE, suffering from gunshot wounds. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
On Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at approximately 11:00 pm, James Marshall was shot to death in front of 1216 Holbrook Street, NE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
On Saturday, April 23, 2005, at approximately 2:10 pm, Michael Curtis was shot while in the 1500 block of Butler Street, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
On Monday, April 4, 2005, at approximately 2 pm, Yafi et Gebreselasie was found dead in a room at the Days Inn Hotel. It was determined by the DC Medical Examiner that Mr. Gebreselasie had been murdered.
On Wednesday, March 31, 2005, at approximately 8:18 pm, Shawn Salim was shot to death in the 2200 block of T Place, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
On Thursday, March 31, 2005, at approximately 10:30 pm, James Perry Jr. was shot to death in the 200 block of 14th Street, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
On Saturday, March 26, 2005, at approximately 1:15 pm, Charles “Chuckie” Green was shot to death in the 1562 41st Street, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
On Saturday, March 26, 2005, at approximately 10:45 am, Bennie Lee Perry was struck by a a white ABC Tow Truck while in the parking lot of the Safeway Food Store on Alabama Avenue, SE. Mr. Perry died as a result of the injuries he sustained .
