Volunteer Opportunities

The Office of Volunteer Coordination is responsible for the coordination of internal volunteer opportunities, including the Reserve Corps, Auxiliary Corps, Volunteer Corps, and Collegiate Internship Program. Additionally, the Office of Volunteer Coordination manages several community-facing initiatives such as the Community Engagement Academy and Police Cadet Explorers Program.

Police ExplorersPolice Explorers Program

Explorers meet once or twice a month at a school or a police station for one to two hours each time to engage in a police-themed activity. 

Ride Along imagePolice Ride-Along program

The Police Ride-Along program allows residents to accompany officers during their tour of duty in a police vehicle. This public education program gives residents a better understanding of police operations.
