Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a vehicle in connection to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, August 20, 2018, in the 100 block of 56th Street, Southeast.
At approximately 8:40 pm, three victims were in a vehicle and parked at the listed location. The suspect vehicle approached the victims’ vehicle. A suspect inside the vehicle fired several shots at the victim’s vehicle. The suspect vehicle then fled the scene. The victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a shooting committed in the District of Columbia.
