Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating an undetermined death in the 800 block of Channing Place, Northeast.

On Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at approximately 11:12 am, an adult female was found deceased in the 800 block of Channing Place, Northeast.

The decedent was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner pending autopsy.

Detectives are awaiting positive identification to determine whether the death is related to a recent silver alert for critical missing person 75 year-old Mary Houston.
