Two Persons of Interest Sought in Robbery

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two persons of interest in connection with the robbery of the Dollar Tree Store located in the 1900 block of Michigan Avenue, NE which occurred on Friday, February 7, 2013, at approximately 4:35 am.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years of age, 5'-8" in height, heavy build.  He was wearing a black jacket with red interior trim and a black mask.  He was armed with a baseball bat.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 5'-8" in height, and weighing 200 to 220 pounds.  He was wearing a dark gray hooded windbreaker, thick leather gloves, and a black mask.  He was carrying a black book bag.

Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
