The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two suspects in connection with a robbery of an establishment. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /?>
On Thursday, August 9, 2012 at approximately 6:12 pm, two subjects entered the City Beats shoe store located in the 3000 block of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, SE. The suspects, armed with a handgun, announced a robbery and robbed the establishment of boxes of shoes and US currency.
The first suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, 5’9”–5’11” tall, slim build, with medium complexion and long black dreads. He was last seen wearing: gray pants, gray shirt.
The second suspect is described as a black male in early 20s, 5’9”–5’11” tall, slim build, with a light complexion and short hair. He was last seen wearing: teal and gray shirt, blue jeans, and a black skull-cap.
