Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects in reference to an Armed Carjacking (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, February 4, 2018, in the 4900 block of Astor Place, Southeast.
At approximately 2:01 pm, the victim was in their vehicle at the listed location. Two suspects approached the victim’s vehicle. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim to exit the vehicle. Once outside, the suspect demanded the victim’s personal property. The victim complied. The suspects attempted to take the victim’s vehicle but were unsuccessful. Both suspects fled the scene on foot.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
