Suspect Wanted for Burglary - Person of Interest in Homicide

(Washington, DC) - Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 19 year-old Andre Dudley (pictured below) who is currently wanted pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with Second Degree Burglary in the burglary offense which occurred on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, in the 4200 block of Argyle Terrace, Northeast.

Andre Dudley is also a person of interest in the Saturday, August 15, 2015 shooting death of 23 year-old Matthew Shlonsky that occurred in the 1800 block of 7th Street, NW.  Dudley should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.

Members of the public should take no action, but contact police immediately if located. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any serious crime and up to $25,000 for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
