The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with a Sexual Assault While Armed which occurred in the area of the area of 48th Place and Foote Street, NE.
On Tuesday, December 17, 2013, around 10:30 am, a female victim was walking in the area of 48th Place and Foote Street, NE, when male suspect approached the victim and produced a handgun. The suspect then forced the victim to a nearby area where he sexually assaulted her.
The suspect is described as a black male with brown eyes wearing a ski mask, orange and grey jacket (possibly a Columbia brand name), blue jeans and brown boots and armed with a handgun.
