Suspect Sought in First Degree Sexual Abuse: West Virginia Avenue and Mount Olivet Road, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department Criminal Investigations Division are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with a First Degree Sexual Abuse offense, which occurred in the area of West Virginia Avenue and Mount Olivet Road, Northeast.

On Sunday, July 13, 2014, after midnight, an adult female was in the area of West Virginia Avenue and Mount Olivet Road, Northeast, when she was subsequently assaulted by a male suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male, medium to dark complexion, brown medium in length dreadlocks, about 5’9 in height, 20-25 years of age, and was last seen wearing a brown shirt, and camouflage type pants and hat.
