Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an Assault on a Police Officer offense that occurred on Friday, November 17, 2017, in the 800 block of 51st Street, Southeast.
At approximately 8:48 pm, Metropolitan Police Department officers were conducting an investigation at the listed location. A suspect approached the area and discharged a firearm in the direction of the officers. The suspect then fled the scene. There were no injuries.
