Suspect Sought in Assault with Intent to Commit First Degree Child Sex Abuse: 1600 Block of 16th Street, Southeast

 Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department Youth Investigation Division are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with an Assault with Intent to Commit First Degree Child Sex Abuse offense, which occurred in the 1600 block of 16th Street, Southeast.

On Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at approximately 6:00 pm, a 14-year-old female juvenile was walking in the alley of the 1600 block of 16th Street Southeast, when she was subsequently assaulted by two male suspects.

On Wednesday, July 2, 2014, members from the Youth Investigations Division arrested 38-year-old, Khaifani Johnson of Southeast, Washington, DC, charging him with Assault with Intent to Commit First Degree Child Sex Abuse.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 5’10-6’2 in height, with long black dreadlocks, medium complexion, stocky build, and was last seen wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans.
