Subjects Sought in relation to Burglary: 1400 Block of Monroe Street, NE

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating multiple suspects in connection with a burglary which occurred in the 1400 block Monroe Street, NE.

On Wednesday, May 29, 2013, between the hours of 9:00 am and 1:00 pm, subjects entered a home located in the 1400 block of Monroe Street, NW and took the victim’s credit cards and other property from the home.   

Later that day, the victim’s credit cards were used at a clothing store on Georgia Avenue, NW.  The subjects using the victim’s credit cards were captured by surveillance video.

Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of these suspects is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.  The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
