Second Arrest Made in an Armed Kidnapping Offense: 1300 Block of U Street Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes Task Force have announced a second arrest has been made in an Armed Kidnapping offense that occurred in the 1300 block of U Street, Northwest, on Saturday, July 14, 2018.

 

At approximately 11:30 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The victim willingly entered a vehicle with the suspect. Once inside the vehicle, the suspect assaulted the victim with a handgun and took the victim’s property while a second suspect drove the vehicle. The victim was driven to several locations where the victim’s money was withdrawn by the suspects. The victim was eventually able to exit the vehicle in Maryland. The victim sought treatment at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

 

On Tuesday, September 25, 2018, pursuant to a US District Court arrest warrant, a 22-year-old adult male, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Kidnapping.

 

On Wednesday, October 10, 2018, pursuant to a US District Court Indictment, 21-year-old Imani Plummer Nunn, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Armed Kidnapping.
