The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two suspects who are wanted in connection with a series of armed robberies that occurred in the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>Northeast DC area between August 2-6, 2008. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /?>
In each incident one of the suspects produced a handgun and demanded money or other items from the victims.

August 2, 2008, in the 600 block of New York Avenue NE, at approximately 2:30 am

August 6, 2008, in the 300 block of Morse Street NE, at approximately 2:40 pm

August 6, 2008, in the 3800 block of 12 Street NE, at approximately 2:59 pm

August 6, 2008, in the 1200 block of Quincy Street NE, at approximately 3:00 pm
Suspect # 1 is described as a dark-complexioned black male with a medium build, 5’8” in height with short hair and a goatee. He was wearing a baseball cap. This suspect was armed with a handgun.
Suspect # 2 is described as a medium-complexioned black male, 18-25 years in age, approximately 5’7” in height. He was clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black baseball cap.
The suspects' vehicle is described as a white Jeep Cherokee possibly bearing Arizona tags 923-KLZ.

The Metropolitan Police Department is currently offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any armed robberies committed in the District of Columbia.
