Police Seeking Public's Assistance in Identifying Person of Interest in Good Hope Road Shooting

A suspect shot a man at a McDonald's Restaurant and fled.

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest wanted in connection with the October 19, 2009 shooting at a McDonald’s Restaurant in the 2500 block of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>Good Hope Road, SE.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /?>


The person, pictured in this release, fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.  He is described as a black male, approximately 5’5” in height, 180 lbs, with a dark complexion and short haircut.  He was wearing a black hooded fleece jacket with a white shirt underneath and blue jeans.  He is considered armed and dangerous.

If the information provided by a caller to Crime Solvers leads to an arrest and indictment that caller will be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
