Persons of Interest Sought in Southern Avenue, SE Homicide

Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying persons depicted in a video.

The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the murder of 21-year-old Mujahid Taalibdin, who was shot and killed on October 10, 2010 at 1:10 am in the 300 block of Southern Avenue SE. The individuals depicted in the attached video are persons of interest related to that investigation. These subjects were seen at the Shell Convenience store in the 4700 block of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>South Capitol Street, SE, shortly before the homicide occurred.

Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying these subjects, as well as any other information related to the murder. Your information can be given anonymously and you may be eligible for a reward up to $25,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible for the murder.
