Persons of Interest Sought in Armed Robbery 1500 block of North Capitol Street, NW

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two persons of interest in connection with an armed robbery which occurred on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, in the 1500 block of North Capitol Street, NW.

The subjects entered the establishment at approximately 2:47 am. Surveillance video captured the subjects as they entered and exited the store.  The persons of interest are described as follows:

Subject 1: Black male, 35 years of age or older, 5'8"-5'9" tall, heavy set build, with medium complexion and full beard. He was wearing a black skull-cap, gray jacket, and blue jeans. He was armed with a dark gray handgun.

Subject 2:  Black male, 30-35 years of age, 5'8"-5'9" tall, skinny build, with light complexion and full beard. He was wearing a black skull cap, black jacket with hood, and light blue jeans.

Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
