The Metropolitan Police Department and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force seek the public's assistance in identifying a person of interest in reference to an unarmed bank robbery that occurred on July 5, 2017, at the TD Bank located in the 900 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northeast
At approximately 9:50 am, the suspect entered the bank at the listed location. The suspect walked up to the teller and passed a note demanding money. The teller gave the suspect an undetermined amount of US currency. The suspect then fled the scene.
The person of interest is described as a black male, with a medium complexion, in his late 40s to early 50s, 5’9” in height, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a grey cap with a ghost face on the front, sunglasses, a blue shirt with a white logo, grey sweatpants, and carrying a black duffle bag.
