Person of Interest Sought in a Robbery: 200 Block of Cedar Street, NW

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a person of interest in connection with a robbery which occurred on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at approximately 1:43 am the 7-11 located in the 200 block of Cedar Street, NW.

The person of interest is described as a black male with a dark complexion, 6’0” to 6’5” tall, weighing between 220 to 250 pounds, last seen wearing a light blue polo style shirt, long dark jean shorts, white socks and white shoes.  He was last seen in a grey 4 door sedan with unknown DC tags.

Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a robbery, committed in the District of Columbia.
