Person of Interest Sought in an Armed Robbery: 3900 Block of South Capitol Street, SE

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating a person of interest in reference to an Armed Robbery which occurred at the 7-eleven convenience store located in the 3900 block of South Capitol Street, SE, on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at approximately 2:20 am.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6' 0" tall, 40-45 years of age, stocky build, shoulder-length dreadlocks, and medium- to dark complexion. He was wearing a black t-shirt, gray capris-style sweatpants, and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a robbery, committed in the District of Columbia.
