Person of Interest Sought in Armed Robbery in the 1100 Block of T Street, NW

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a person of interest in reference to an Armed Robbery offense, which occurred in the 1110 block of T Street, NW, on Monday, February 11, 2013 at approximately 6:55 am. Surveillance cameras captured the subject as he walked along the sidewalk and then approached two individuals in the alley.

The subject is described as a black male in his mid to late 20s, 5'10"-6'0" tall, 165 pounds, with a medium complexion.  He was last seen wearing a dark balaclava face mask, gray hoodie and possibly a North Face brand outer jacket, blue jeans and a dark pair of sneakers with a visible orange stripe along the side. The suspect was armed with a small black semi-auto handgun.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.  The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
