Homicide/Assault with Intent to Kill: 4200 Block of 6th Street, SE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a Homicide & Assault with Intent to Kill that occurred in the 4200 block of 6th Street, Southeast.                                                                 

On Sunday, June 15, 2014, at approximately 12:29 am, members of the Seventh District received a report for a gunshot victim in the 4200 block of 6th Street, Southeast.  Upon arrival, they located three adult males suffering from gunshot wounds.  All three victims were transported to a local hospital where one of the victims was subsequently pronounced dead.

The decedent has been identified as 20 year-old Delano Phillips of Southeast, Washington, DC.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
