Homicide in the 500 Block of Parkland Place, Southeast

(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred in the 500 block of Parkland Place, Southeast.  On Tuesday April 7, 2015 at approximately 7:10 pm, members of the Seventh District were flagged down in reference to the sounds of gunshots. Officers canvassed the area and located an adult male, in the 500 block of Parkland Place, Southeast, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

The decedent has been identified as 23 year-old Larry Wallace of Southeast, DC.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
