Homicide at 4654 Hillside Road, SE

Monday, November 28, 2005

At approximately 10:03 pm, on Sunday, November 27, 2005, officers were called to the front of 4654 Hillside Road, SE, to investigate the report of a shooting.  Upon arrival officers located a 34-year-old District male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to the Prince George's Hospital Center and pronounced dead at 10:40 pm.

The name of the victim is being withheld at this time pending notification of his next of kin.


The case is under investigation by members of the Metropolitan Police Department's Violent Crimes Branch.  Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.


The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide commited in the District of Columbia.
