Homicide: 400 Block of Riggs Road, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the 400 block of Riggs Road, Northeast, on Friday, January 12, 2018.

 

At approximately 2:06 pm, members of the Fourth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered two adult males and a juvenile male, inside of a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victims to area hospitals for treatment. After all lifesaving efforts failed, one of the victims was pronounced dead. The other two victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.

 

The decedent has been identified as 17-year-old Davon Fisher, of Northeast, DC.

 

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at 202-727-9099.
