Homicide in the 3400 block of 13th Place, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide which occurred in the 3400 block of 13th Place SE. On Monday, January 19, 2015, at approximately 2 pm, members of the Seventh District responded to the 3400 block of 13th Place, SE. Upon arrival, they located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. Personnel from DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The decedent has been identified as 22-year-old Kevin Owens of Southeast, DC.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
