Homicide in the 2800 Block of Robinson Place, SE

The MPDC will pay up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in Monday's fatal shooting.

At approximately 12:17 am, on Monday, October 2, 2006, Metropolitan Police were called to the 2800 block of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>Robinson Place, SE, for the report of a shooting.  Upon arrival, officers located 37-year-old Eric Delonte Holloway, of the 800 block of the Bellevue Street, SE, suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds to the body and head.  DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded to the scene, but could find no signs consistent with life.  The victim was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia and pronounced dead.

The case is under investigation by members of the MPDC's Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.


The department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
