Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the 2700 block of Langston Place, Southeast on Friday, June 16, 2017.
At approximately 10:43 pm, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located two adult males and a juvenile male, suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene and transported the victims to area hospitals. The first victim, an adult male, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The second and third victims remain in stable condition.
The decedent has been identified as 25-year-old Malik Hill, of Southeast, DC.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
