Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide which occurred in the 2200 block of G Street, Northeast on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at approximately 4:33 pm.
Members of the Fifth District responded to a call for a stabbing. Upon arrival on the scene, members located the victim suffering from stab wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to an area hospital, where the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 51-year-old Nathaniel Moody of Northeast, D.C.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
