Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the 200 block of 51st Street, Northeast on Sunday, January 29, 2017.
At approximately 7:30 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital where all lifesaving efforts failed and he was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 34-year-old Wilson Agbebaku, of Oxon Hill, MD.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
