(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide which occurred in the 1400 block of Howard Road, Southeast.
On Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at approximately 1:30 pm, members from the Seventh District responded to a call for the sounds of gunshots in the 1400 block of Howard Road, Southeast. Upon arrival, they located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 19-year-old Devon Dominique Parker of Southeast, Washington, DC.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
