(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred in the 1300 block of Harvard Street, Northwest.
On Friday, May 1, 2015 at approximately 12:52 am, members of the Third District were on patrol when they heard gunshots in the area. The area was canvassed and members located an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 21 year-old Gregory McBryde of Northwest, DC.
The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
