Homicide in the 1300 Block of First Street, SW

Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of 23-year-old Harold Crawley.

On Friday, May 18, 2007, at approximately 4:40 pm, police were called to the 1300 block of First Street, SW, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival police located 23-year-old Harold Crawley, of the 1400 block of Half Street, SW, suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was transported to the Washington Hospital Center’s MedStar Unit and pronounced dead.

The case is under investigation by members of the department’s Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.

The Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
