Shortly before 3:30 pm on Thursday, April 12, 2007, police and DCFD emergency medical personnel responded to the area of 51st Street and Banks Place, NE to investigate the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they discovered a male suffering from a stab wound to the upper body.
The victim, who has been identified as 40-year-old Moses Anderson, of the 7000 block of Greig Street in Seat Pleasant, Maryland, was transported to Prince George’s County Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:02 pm.
The case is currently under investigation by detectives assigned to the department’s Violent Crimes Branch. Anyone who has information regarding this case is asked to call (202) 727-9099.
The Metropolitan Police Department is currently offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
