Double Homicide: 400 Block of 61st Street, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a double homicide that occurred on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, in the 400 block of 61st Street, Northeast.

 

At approximately 11:34 pm, members of the Sixth District responded for the report of a shooting, at the listed location. Upon arrival, officers located two adult males, inside of a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services arrived on the scene and found no signs consistent with life. The decedents remained on the scene until being transported to Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

 

The decedents have been identified as 23 year-old Dalonte Wilson of Northeast, DC and 44 year-old Antone Brown of Capitol Heights, MD.

 

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at 202-727-9099.
