Decedent Identified in Death Investigation in the 1900 Block of Fenwick Street, NE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating the death of a woman who was found in the 1900 block of Fenwick Street, NE.

On Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at approximately 4:56 am units from the Fifth District responded for a call to investigate the trouble at the 1900 block of Fenwick Street, NE.  Upon arrival, they located a Caucasian adult female who was unconscious and unresponsive.  DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded and did not find any signs consistent with life.  The victim was pronounced dead by a member of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The cause of death is pending an autopsy.

The decedent has been identified as 39 year-old Misty Lachelle Clandon of Northeast, Washington, DC.
