Death of Critical Missing Person Marty McMillan, Jr. Ruled a Homicide

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating the homicide of a Critical Missing Person from Washington, DC.

Marty William McMillan, Jr., 22, of Southeast Washington, DC was last seen in the 2900 block of M Street in Southeast, DC, on Sunday, April 23, 2017.

The United States Park Police located human remains, later identified as Marty McMillan, Jr., on October 30, 2017 along Suitland Parkway in Prince George’s County.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore has determined the cause of death was due to multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.

The Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch will have investigative responsibility of this case as preliminary information suggests the homicide occurred in the District.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
