Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating an Assault with Intent to Kill which occurred in the 3800 block of Hayes Street, NE.

On Friday, October 3, 2014 at approximately 8:58 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to a call for sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, they located two adult males and a juvenile male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  All three victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment.  The juvenile male remains in critical condition.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any assault committed in the District of Columbia.
