Arrests Made in Sex Trafficking of Children Case 3800 block South Capitol Street Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Youth and Family Services Division, working in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force announced that two arrests have been made in a Sex Trafficking of Children case that involved the pandering and trafficking of juvenile sex workers, physical sexual abuse of juvenile victims, and the distribution of marijuana.  The primary offenses are alleged to have taken place in the 3800 block of South Capitol Street, Southeast on Friday, June 26, 2015.

On June 29, 2015, a 35 year-old male, of Southeast was arrested pursuant to a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant and charged with First Degree Child Sex Abuse, Pandering, Sex Trafficking of Children, and Distribution of Marijuana.

On July 9, 2015, 28 year-old Jarnese Harris, of Southeast was arrested by Washington Metropolitan Airport Authority Police as a Fugitive From Justice. Ms. Harris’ arrest was pursuant to an DC Superior Court arrest warrant charging her with Sex Trafficking of Children.
