The Metropolitan Police Department and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Unarmed Bank Robbery offense that occurred at the Wells Fargo Bank in the 400 block of North Capitol Street, Northwest, on Friday, November 10, 2017.
At approximately 12:09 pm, the suspect entered the bank and approached the counter. The suspect handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller was able to walk away and alert police. Officers arrived on the scene and apprehended the suspect.
On Friday, November 10, 2017, 55-year-old Lafonda Moore-Terry, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Bank Robbery.
