Arrest Made in the Homicide of Stanley Daniels

An arrest has been made in a 2008 homicide.

The Metropolitan Police Department has announced that an arrest has been made in the murder of Stanley Daniels, which occurred in the 3500 block of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>Georgia Avenue, NW on Friday, August 8, 2008.

On Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at approximately 8:30 am, 35-year-old Antwarn D. Fenner, of Washington, DC was arrested by the Joint Fugitive Task Force pursuant to an arrest warrant charging him with Murder I While Armed in connection with the homicide of Mr. Daniels.


On Friday, August 8, 2008, at approximately 9:15 pm, members of the Third District responded to the 3500 block of Georgia Avenue, NW for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located 48-year-old Stanley Daniels, of the 7800 block of Allendale Drive, in Landover, Maryland, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the head and neck. DC Fire Department emergency medical personnel responded to the scene, but were unable to find any signs consistent with life. The victim was subsequently pronounced dead on the scene by a representative from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the District of Columbia.
