Arrest made in the Homicide of Jordan Howe

A 19-year-old man has been charged with murder.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced that an arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of Jordan Howe. Nineteen-year-old Sanquan Carter of Southeast Washington was arrested in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>Northwest Washington earlier this morning, Tuesday, March 23, 2010. He has been charged with Murder Two While Armed in the homicide of Mr. Howe. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /?>

At approximately 12:30 am on Monday, March 22, 2010, 20-year-old Jordan Howe was discovered by police in the 1300 block of Alabama Avenue, SE, suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds. He was subsequently transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
