Arrest Made in February 2005 Homicide outside Club U

At approximately 2:55 am, on Sunday, February 13, 2005, Metropolitan Police were called to the Reeves Center, located at 2000 14th Street, NW, for the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, police located 31-year-old Terrence Brown, of the 800 block of 46th Street, NE, suffering from apparent multiple stab wounds to the body. He was transported to the Howard University Hospital and pronounced dead at 3:18 am.


The preliminary investigation indicated Mr. Brown was involved in an alteration with another man while inside "Club U," which was located inside the Reeves Center at the time. The fight continued in the lobby outside the club, at which time Mr. Brown was stabbed.


The above case was closed on November 26, 2005, with the arrest of 31-year-old Jerome Jones, of no fixed address. He was charged with Murder II while Armed.
