Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District have announced an arrest has been made in a Carjacking offense that occurred in the 6200 block of Eastern Avenue, Northeast, on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.
At approximately 3:15 am, the victim stopped his vehicle at the listed location and was approached by four suspects. The suspects assaulted and pulled the victim out of his vehicle. A fifth suspect then entered the vehicle and fled the scene. The remaining suspects fled on foot. The victim was treated on the scene by DC Fire and EMS for non-life threatening injuries.
A short time later Fourth District officers located the victim’s vehicle, which was occupied by the one of the suspects. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Tuesday, September 12, 2017, 45-year-old Samantha Greene, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Carjacking.
