Arrest Made in Burglary One: 3700 Block of Oliver Street, NW

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District have announced that an arrest has been made in the Burglary One which occurred in the 3700 block of Oliver Street, NW.

On Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at approximately 12:25 pm, members of the Second District responded to a call for the report of Burglary One that just occurred in the 3700 block of Oliver Street NW. An armed male suspect had forced his way into a residence, assaulted one of the occupants, and demanded property from another occupant.  Upon the arrival of officers, a lookout was broadcast out for the suspect.  Other officers who were canvassing the area located the suspect and attempted to stop him when he began to run.  Officers pursued on foot and caught the suspect in the 5500 block of Connecticut Avenue, NW. 

The suspect, identified as 57-year-old Cochise Darnell Hudgens of Southeast, DC was arrested and charged with Burglary One while Armed.
